At about 7:15 pm on Christmas Eve, we were dispatched to a hiker with a broken leg and jaw in Harriman State Park. Squad 521, M524 and Car 1 responded. The injured hiker was found about 1.5 miles into the woods and had fallen about 25 feet off a cliff. The patient was packaged and evacuated from the woods, and was flown out via medevac. Units were back in service after about 3 hours.
