Woodbury Fire Department Celebrates 2026 Installation Dinner
The Woodbury Fire Department proudly held its 2026 Installation Dinner, bringing together members, families, friends, and honored guests to celebrate another successful year of service to the residents and visitors of Woodbury.
The evening served as an opportunity to recognize the dedication, sacrifice, and accomplishments of our members while officially installing the department’s line officers for the 2026 year.
The following officers were sworn in and installed:
- Chief of Department (Car 1) – Brian Wallace
- 1st Assistant Chief (Car 2) – Christopher Burke
- 2nd Assistant Chief (Car 3) – Bob Kauer
- Captain (Car 4) – Tim Finnegan
- Lieutenant (Car 5) – Vincent Torrisi
- 1st Lieutenant (Car 6) – Joe Roccisano
- 2nd Lieutenant (Car 7) – Hunter Danielson
Several members were recognized for their outstanding service and dedication to the department throughout the past year.
The department proudly recognized the following award recipients:
- Junior Firefighter of the Year – Luke Skarkas
- Firefighter of the Year – Vincent Torrisi
- Chief’s Award – Jonathan Stevens
- Chauffeur of the Year – Scott Sheehan
In addition to these awards, several firefighters were recognized for responding to more than 35% of all department calls during the year. Their commitment and willingness to answer the call at all hours of the day and night reflects the dedication that makes the Woodbury Fire Department successful.
The department also recognized several members for their years of dedicated service to the Woodbury Fire Department. Among those honored was Marc Morea, who was recognized for an incredible 45 years of service. Such milestones are a testament to the commitment, sacrifice, and tradition of volunteer firefighting that have helped shape and strengthen our department for generations.
The Woodbury Fire Department extends its sincere congratulations to all award recipients, service award honorees, and newly installed officers. We also thank every member for their continued commitment to training, emergency response, community service, and the proud tradition of volunteer firefighting.
